Lt. Bernard Lombard, Lumbort, Lumbart, took the oath of freeman in Mass.1 Apr. 1634 when he was perhaps of Dorchester, but soon went to Scituate,where he may have been earlier. He joined the church with his wife on 19April 1635. Later he went w ith Rev. Lothrop to Barnstable. Joshua and Mary were baptised at Scituate 8 Oct. 1637. Martha was baptised 3 Nov. 1639. The records indicate that the first two children were by DorothyRickee. Since there were 3 other wives, we don't at the moment know whothe other children were by.[leyda.FTW]
