William Henry Albright can best be described by his obituary whichappeared in the Wooster Daily on Friday, Sept. 19, 1913.
Mr. William H. Albright passed away at his home on S. Buckeye St.Thurs. night at 5:45 P.M. A stroke of paralysis sustained a few hoursprevious, causing his death. He was in his 78th year, having been bornOct. 24, 1835. Mr. Albright was a native of Pennsylvania and was the sonof David Albright. Soon after his birth (1835) the family located inWayne County on a farm south of the city. 13 years ago Mr. Albrightretired from farm life and moved to S. Buckeye, where he has sinceresi ded. The homestead in recent years, has become a rich oil field. TheWife, Ann Albright, died May 27 of this year. On the 23rd of lastDecember, Mr. and Mrs. Albright celebrated their 50th weddinganniversary. The aged man lead a clean, upright l ife and was highlyesteemed wherever known. Seven children were born to the union, two ofwhom survive; J. E. Albright of Ravenna and D. Frank Albright on thehomestead. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Mary Bigham of Tulsa, Oklahomaand Mrs. Samuel Metzler of Wooster.[leyda.FTW]
