Mrs. Sophronia Grady, relict of Israel Grady, died at a late hourWed. Evening at her home on E. Bowman St. of infirmities incident toadvanced years. Mrs. Grady was born in E. Union Twp and all of her dayswere spent in the county of her birt h. The greatest number of years inE. Union Twp. She was aged 76 years and 5 days. The funeral took placefrom the house at 1:30 P. M. Sat. Internment in Wooster Cemetery.
She was a member of the Baptist Church, a Christian woman who livedher life in conformity to her professions of religion and was ready tomeet the Master whom she served so well and so long.
Two children remain to mourn the death of mother, J. M. Grady ofWayne Twp. and Mrs I. H. Odenkirk of Wooster.

"Bob ‎(Grady)‎ said about all he could remember about Sophronia wasthat she always wore a black silk dress and a long necklace of black jetbeads and sat on a straight back chair and never allowed her back totouch the chair. They were warned t o be careful not to breakgrandmother's beads when they hugged her but he dreaded it because herbeads were sharp and cut his face.
