David Albright, the grandfather of David Franklin Albright, bought thefarm on which his grandson and great great grandson, Jim Grady, wasborn. In other words, the basic farm was first purchased by DavidAlbright. It then passed to William Henry Albright on 1 April 1880. Thefinal Alright to own the property was David Franklin Albright who boughtit from his father on 3 June 1913. He owned the property and eitherfarmed it or had it farmed by renters until his death in 1943. One cano nly presume that then Frank reached maturity and responsibility he tookover the primary farming function on a share basis or rent basis. Norecords exist showing what the father/son relationship was on thisscore. Evidence that Frank recognized t hat he would eventually own thisfarm and all that went with it is shown in the land transaction recordedin which Frank alone was involved. This transaction took place in 1894,some 5 years after his marriage to Myrtie Valerte Langell. The landme ntioned above adjoins the homestead property on the south side andencompasses 30 acres lying on the east side of Millersburg-Wooster Road‎(now Ohio Rt. 83)‎‎[leyda.FTW]‎
