Notes for Asenath Gaver

"Aseneth" appears in the NSDAR records as the wife of John Schleife,
a Revolutionary Patriot. Her last name is not recorded there, however.
Various spellings have been observed in different records, one even
as Seneth. The solution appears to be in the Bible, as many were
named after biblical people in those days. Go back to Genesis 41:45
and the spelling there is Asenath, probably what was intended.
- Let's go with ASENATH -
Ralph Martz, genealogist (recently deceased), belived that she was from
the Gaver line in MD. If this is true, it means we have another tree
branch to trace back to another immigrant and another(?) country.
Have seen two birth dates: July 23, 1747 and July 24, 1748.
