Notes for Hans Andreas Kachel

On June 26 1740 Hans Kachel and his "whore" Ursula Vers from Wenkheim openly admitted to premarital relations and mad a formal appology to the church congregation, they were married two days later.
Johann Andreas Kachel was a soldier in the Wertheimer Company between the years 1741-43 He was one of 6 Kachels to serve in this company.
The family arrived in Philadelphia Sept 12 1750 aboard the ship "Priscilla" from their native village of Dertingen, Baden Germany
The Kachels settled first in Montgomery Co then moved to Berks Co PA where they raised their family on 150 acre farm.
