Johann Georg Leinard was located in Ohio for much of his married life toMary Hester. No marriage document is found but his is named as thehusband of Mary Hester in the will of her father. The Hesters lived inColumbiana Co., OH. John Hester wil led 80 Acres, 18 May 1831, inAshland County to his daughter Mary. (See book 4, page 204) Laterrecords, 1 April 1854, show this same property was deeded to SamuelRobertson from George and Polly Leinard. George was found in Columbiana Co., Center Twp, per the 1820 Ohiocensus, page 83, line 7. In 1830 they were not found in the census and it is known that theymoved about this time to Richland Co., OH. In 1831 John Hester willedland to daughter in Richland County where "Polly now lives." In 1840, Census of Richland Co., OH Orange Twp. we have the familyof George along with 5 males and wife with 5 females. In 1850 they were in the same location, now a part of Ashland Co.,Orange Twp. part I, page 980, line 36.
They moved to West Jefferson, Williams Co., OH about 1850. Zion LutheranChurch there shows George as a founder in 1859. He and his wife Mary areburied there.[leyda.FTW]
